About EMBER

EMBER is a nostalgia affiliate platform that automatically discovers the products, toys, and moments people still miss — and finds where you can get them today.

How it works

Every six hours, EMBER scans Reddit communities where people talk about the things they grew up with: r/nostalgia, r/GenX, r/Millennials, and dozens more. When a post scores high enough on our nostalgia and affiliate opportunity metrics, our AI pipeline generates a full article — and then finds the best place to buy that thing again today.

The affiliate relationship

EMBER participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and may participate in other affiliate programs. When you click an affiliate link on this site and make a purchase, we earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. This is how we keep the lights on and the pipeline running.

We only link to products that are genuinely relevant to the nostalgia content. We never artificially inflate scores or recommend products we wouldn't actually buy ourselves.

Generations we cover

  • Baby Boomers (1946–1964) — Post-war Americana, transistor radios, muscle cars
  • Generation Jones (1954–1965) — CB radios, disco, early video games
  • Generation X (1965–1980) — Atari, VHS, Saturday morning cartoons, neon everything
  • Millennials (1981–1996) — Dial-up, Tamagotchis, AOL Instant Messenger, DVD menus
  • Generation Z (1997–2012) — Vine, Flash games, early smartphones, Club Penguin
